Michael explained the mathematics very well! It was clear for me how I could use machine learning in an basic way to predict some outcomes. I liked the introduction of the 'learning' part of people. Michael got my full attention the whole 45 minutes. And as usual an great presentation skills. ?
Fun. Well spoken. Thijs can really tell a story. A bit 'how I got to be on this stage'-y.
The most useful talk in the conference, for me. This is the sort of talk I was expecting before I came: well explained, useful examples, straight to the point. Opinionated without being annoying.
Good speaker. I learned a lot about what microservices are, and the trade offs in using them.
The speaker clearly knows a lot about the topic. I would have been more interested in hearing the a to z story of how he built one of his projects. Instead we got reviews on components we might use and a list of his projects. Which - as an absolute beginner on this topic - is not a lot of help.
His conclusion: you don't need a lot of electronic know how to get started.
My conclusion: to get started I would need to buy a 'build this cool thing' kit.
The accent was hard to understand, but the content was good. Good examples. Useful nuggets.
Very well presented. The insights were a bit basic, but perhaps that is just what this audience needed.
It was great too have the social in the venue! It was for me an added value to the conference. I was one of the people that skipped the socials the year before because it was not in the venue. I would say; next year again! ?
Well done: informative and fun.
Nice theories/examples to start with, and rounding up with an lot of discussion(s). Maybe you can use some of the questions in your presentations to make the benefits even more clear. ?
