Good attempt at trying to define 'senior developer'. I feel like I now have a much better idea of what it means or should mean.
Good overview on BC, authoritative.
Fun talk. Interested in reading the mentioned books.
I enjoyed the interactivity. Great stage presence.
I also learned something about static functions vs value objects. Tuesday (Monday is a holiday) I will immediately apply a refactor!
Fantastic talk. Very authoritative. Something I can use as reference when designing future APIs.
Really loved this keynote! I like the way Henney related facts and humor. Equasions from Physics (v=s/t and F=ma) adopted to processes in Agile teams, with loads of humor but a very serious and layered undertone. Good fun and great learnings.
I was surprised by this talk. I was expecting something different from the abstract, but anyway... it's was interesting. I just had a doubt if I was in the right room in the first part, but after a while everything became clear. I think it'd be better if the talk had a different structure. Part about differences between English and PHP was very interesting, but I think it should be just the addition and it seemed to me it was the main part of the talk... Anyway, it was delivered well and I enjoyed it.
Fun talk. Surprisingly good story. Good delivery.
I enjoyed the insight in different attitudes towards privacy in society and business between Europe and the US.
I liked the inclusion of references to work so it will be easy to follow up on this talk.
Some sheets were confusing, for instance the 'what you have, how you engage, how you work sheet'.
I would have also liked to see specifics of Dutch/European privacy rules.
Something minor: slide 38 (the seven principles of PbD) has 'PbD' in an octagon - just use a circle.
The speaker looked a bit nervous, or just had a itchy nose, which distracted a little from the message. His voice, language and grammer was very well so the talk was very easy to listen to.
The talk was very informative. I've expected a more technical message, but really liked the insights about social dynamics in and around teams. Learn the logic of other disciplines (marketing / sales / etc.), to be able to better understand and communicate with other teams.
