Great insight into the development of Jiran, and the decisions behind it.

Pairing was a good idea, learnt about nvm for the first time and was a good introduction to beginning to code using node :)

Good presentation, I took away that we should be fulfilling requirements first and foremost instead of trying to fulfil what we think the requirements are (which sometimes leads to code more complex than it needs to be). Also delivering early and often is an approach I would be interested in trying more often.

Good refresher on some features of Jira, learnt some new things such as components.

I enjoyed going through the examples and solving the problems. Your way of showing a basic solution first, then refactoring it to a better solution was good for learning too!

Learnt a lot about kanban-ing, the most important take home being to make it work for you and your team - there is no off-the-shelf template.

Good discussion coming from the team, with lots of experience and ideas.

A funny and engaging introduction to domain modelling in FP, I liked the examples. At times I thought it was a bit confusing but that could be because it can be a confusing topic. I would like to see a more complete example codebase (not in the presentation, just for learning purposes) or have a workshop dedicated to modelling in FP. Maybe we could try this as a kata in code club? I'm also curious as to how easy it will be to migrate the models if the domain changes or we get more business insight.

I found it interesting and inspiring.. and i'll be reading about this NLP - thanks for sharing!
