Love the fact that you combined multiple presentations into one. Topic was super relevant for me; we still use zend1 and I was looking for a way to start integration more Laravel code.

Excellent talk! We've always avoided mixing laravel in with legacy code. I've personally always wanted to rebuilt everything. And rarely had time, budget or opportunity to do so.
This approach is the best of both worlds. And we've already planned out several ways to do this in the near future.

It's always a pleasure to see Igor in action. He's part mad-scientist, part artist, and is a relaxed and supportive person.

Uncle Bob starts his courses with a quick science lesson. It helps to build a sense of wonder for the natural world and to open one's mind to think of things outside of the usual context.

I believe that Igor's talk definitely opened the minds of the audience. I also agree with Matt that this talk was easier in general for the audience to follow despite the varied backgrounds of the attendees.

Well done.

I personally found a lot of value in this talk. I have been using TDD enthusiastically for 6+ months and I learned some great techniques for understanding my code through the use of testing and mocking. I feel like this talk also did a great job tying in the SOLID principles and giving a more practical real-world analysis of how these principles look in code.

I would not change the fact that you use real-world style examples, even if the code is more complex as a result. There's enough simplified examples out there and this sort of information is valuable.

I would suggest a little less text on non-source slides, if possible. I would also liked to have seen a very short introduction to the SOLID principles at the beginning of the talk. "These principles are blah blah blah, object-oriented design, blah blah blah. They are important to know, and here are some resources to learn more about them." I think that would help to better tie this talk to some of the uninitiated.

Thanks so much for this.

Perfect keynote. Gave the event a finish with a flourish!

Way over my head but very well presented by someone who is at the top of their game

Great talk, provided insights into how we can manage our migration and has made the task much less daunting. It will take longer than you think! ;)

I cant give you any advice. I just hope you will give this talk to a lot of people.
