Great talk for a wide audience. It gave a good view on what you can do with Varnish.
I would like to see more code snippets or real project examples. Maybe some use case where Varnish really helped?
A very nice introduction to Varnish, Talk started slowly with explaining HTTP. But I understand it was needed for a diverse audience.
Good talk, the jokes were awful (in a good way). Great introduction to event sourcing.
Interesting talk with catchy intro. Great overview on why/when to scale horizontal.

Easy to follow and good recap at the end.
Totally agree with Luke Lowrey about the monotonous tone and speeking to fast, so it felt like putting a 80 minutes talk into 60 minutes.
Content of the talk was too basic, could have been more advanced at start.
Good talk, but had a few edges that could have been a bit more polished. The jokes were awful, but compensated by the great content. Mitchell has a thorough understanding of Event Sourcing and can share that knowledge with the crowd. If he can keep his overdrive speed of pace in check, he can become an amazing speaker.
Clear and Concise. Well polished abstract overview of where scaling can hurt and how you can solve it. Moving from scaling up to scaling out, the road to take and most importantly, why. Talk was delivered with humor and had good pacing. Well done.
The delivery was good, but about much of the talk seemed to just be telling us much of what the documentation already does. Had the title been "Introduction to Migrations" this would have been a fantastic talk, though. A few tips for the future would be to breathe a bit more. The nerves started to show a little (which I don't think anyone would blame you for!), which made you speed up in some parts.
Amazing talk! A lot of small slides that made the talk really good to follow ;)
