Great high level overview of caching and queueing. Definitely gets the brain wave flowing. Would have liked to see a couple of explicit code samples but it's a small nitpick. Great, fun presentation.

This was a very helpful session - a nice refresher if you haven't been in code for a while. The slides will be very helpful, with succinct examples of the different parts of OO PHP laid out.

Great tutorial from Andreas. He readily assisted individuals who encountered issues along the way and still managed to complete the simple framework. As an improvement, give a list of components from packagist.org that would address several common web application use cases to add on to the simple framework.

I'll second Steve Grunwell's point and add that this was by far my favorite talk of this whole first day, and I look forward to seeing it turned into a Keynote one day. Merline's talk was informative, motivating and very inspiring.

Immensely enjoyable talk filled with a great breadth and depth of information. Now there are a ton of tools I must go tinker with posthaste. You just gave me more work Kat!!!! :)

Lawrence covers an amazing amount of information in a very short time. He gives a really good overview, and keeps the audience engaged. Very good talk.

This talk is a great overview of serverless. It means a lot that Brett speaks from experience and is able to give real life examples. I admire that he shares mistakes that he made, and does so with the intent of helping others avoid making those same mistakes. He also adds just the right amount of humor to keep it from being dry. Great talk.

Steven always does a great job. In this talk he makes points, then follows them with code examples to back them up. There is a ton of information in this talk; it moves quickly, but Steven explains things very well. I learned much and am taking away things I need to explore further.

As someone without a CS degree I can relate to the points Hilary made. The comparisons between tech job skills and experiences in other industries is terrific. I saw a lot of myself in those comparisons. Our field needs people with diverse experiences and skills. Hilary drives this fact home in this talk.

Taylor knows the topic and explains things well. I really like the hand-drawn slides; they add a lot of personality to the presentation.
