Engaging speaker, kept the presentation moving nicely while presenting new (and tricky) Linux concepts.
I wish I could give this talk more than five stars. I've seen several talks on mental health, and this is by far the best both in terms of informing the audience about the state of mental health, encouraging the cultivation of empathy, and most importantly, showing how anyone can help to make the status quo better. Nara delivered many statistics and cited sources in an understandable way and was also very heartfelt in sharing her own personal experiences. I hope to see this talk on the schedule of many more conferences in the future.
Rodney gave an amazing talk and imparted very useful knowledge to to use when interviewing and considering new positions.
His talk had a great pace and the perfect balance of seriousness and humor.
Rodney's talk was a great reminder that through hard work and perseverance, you too can accomplish great things, no matter the challenges or past mistakes.
I hope to have the opportunity to see Rodney speak again.
Ken did a wonderful job on this tutorial (and the hours and hours or prep work).
The RaspberryPis were set up perfectly with the perfect balance of pre-installed software with enough minor installs left for demonstration purposes.
He took us from a first ssh into the pi, through connecting a sensor, reading data from it and doing several useful tasks with that data.
Not only educational but entertaining.
Great job!
Liam gave an excellent and entertaining tutorial that would bring someone up to speed using the Linux command line.
Super nice talk. Super (and sad) reason to do so.
Great presentation on mental health. I think it's great to hear from someone who self-identifies as "mentally healthy" because this is an issue that is important to *everyone*, not just those who personally deal with mental illness. We should all be talking about it and ending the stigma.
Good examples that give you topics to research for later
damn near perfect!
Great speaker and a great introduction to the topic!
