This was a lot of content, especially for me as I have no prior Drupal experience. It was unfortunately exacerbated by the technical difficulties which compressed your talk.

However, it seemed clear that you were proud of the great strides Drupal has made from 7 to 8. Thanks for your contributions to the open source community and for taking the time to introduce us to Drupal 8.

The overview of the SOLID principles was brisk and without justification. If you're presuming the audience doesn't know SOLID, then rather than merely deliver the maxims, why not also explain their context and benefits, contrasting them with the alternatives. You had plenty of spare time in the talk.

You also shared "The Clean Architecture" diagram without (initially) explaining why it was clean, or superior to other architectures. Toward the end you mentioned better testing and framework independence, but I think you would be more persuasive exploring those advantages before the big reveal.

I wasn't a fan of the deadpan setup where you said we shouldn't be doing things a certain way, only to turn around and admit that it was mostly fine. You hadn't given us enough background to recognize the defect yet.

Thanks for taking the time to present.

Great overview! - I'd like some real world examples of how data collected is used for business processes or troubleshooting

Could have used more explanation at the top about why I would want to implement the ELK stack. We jumped pretty quickly into installation and configuration details without much of a product overview.

Great strategic overview of a complicated problem - I appreciated the time taken to run through failed iterations on the way to the current solution.

A very solid talk covering almost all of the core concepts of Laravel (of which there are many...) without getting too bogged down in any specific area. It may have helped if the slide deck had been more thoroughly reorganized from a three-hour workshop into a fifty-minute talk, but even that didn't stop Joe's knowledge and passion from shining through.

Pretty dry, very quiet speaker, hard to hear. Could have used more energy or excitement about the topic. The "here's a thing Ardent has that you probably shouldn't actually use" was pointless. If we shouldn't use it, it's of no value showing us. I would There was very little "why", just a lot of "here's what this does".

The stack that Samantha works with is fascinating! Getting to see the thought that goes into work at that scale is really a treat, and she presents it so well!
