Talk comments

Really great talk that left me mildly horrified about my own sites as I could immediately think of examples where I had been unknowingly doing things wrong. Nic brought many things to my attention that I had not thought of before and moving forward I feel this session will improve my coding and accessibility practices dramatically.

Useful talk! I think it had great breadth and resources, covering important topics. It was really helpful to get all of Magento 2 condensed into a no-nonsense technical overview. I also appreciated the "pitch" for being part of the Magento community and explaining how to get involved.

I don't feel like it covered the "how" of Magento 2 very well, e.g. setup and what to know to get started--examples would be good here. I think this is still a good talk though, so maybe just "repackage" it as a "What you need to know about Magento 2" talk rather than a "Here's how you get started with Magento 2".

Very informative. Slides a bit hard to see

great story and talk about open source and a nice way to kick off the conference. Also, thank you for convincing me to finally submit some of my own tweaks and fixes to libraries that I use.

Even though I have a lot of experience in accessibility I still learned a lot.

Wonderful information for bringing apps into PHP 7 - lot of information covered and was wonderfully handled.

Information was great to hear but I don't feel like it was geared properly. More information on when to use MongoDB compared to relational databases would be nice. Format of slides needs to be improved as well - it's too much content on one slide and can be hard to see it all - especially when geared as "entry level".
I would also work a bit on annunciation of words - it was hard to understand things at times.

Great talk--very good to see all the examples. I already knew graph databases conceptually but hadn't seen them in action--it was only then that those concepts were solidified and now I feel like I could get started using graph databases myself.

Gary is an excellent speaker, this is the second time I've seen this talk and somehow he is able to capture my attention and keep it.

Highly impressed by the talk - well though out, great pacing and all-around interesting perspective. I'm amazed how many similarities I have in my career (just not as advanced as yours).
Loved the humor and energy.

Improvement - more talk about where to get started in the market to help improve. You reference your story - what about other ways to get involved?
