I've tried out Laravel a few times but couldn't get into it coming from CodeIgniter. I still appreciated seeing what else Laravel offers that I need to investigate for future projects (e.g. Cashier).

Without a direct application on how to use this framework, it was hard to have a takeaway. Appreciated knowing that this it out there.

Great review of OOP concepts and also new tips on how to apply OOP.

I liked the hand-drawn slides, and I thought the example was very good. One of my favorite talks of the conference.

I enjoyed hearing how another developer solved business problems alongside technical problems. I'd be interested if you touched on how to build technical wealth in addition to avoiding technical debt.

I appreciated the practical tips of how to contribute to open source to encourage everyone to give back, from code, documentation, bug fixes, etc.
