Great workshop and I learned a lot, especially about rebasing and rescue killed commits aka ref-log.

And what was great is, that you repeated every asked question. I don't know any speaker who does it all the time, most forget it after repeating the first...

Great talk, really opened my eyes to what is possible with Docker.

The speaker managed to get everyone in the room through setting up, getting a few containers running and then even using some tertiary tools like Fugu to manage the building of containers - pretty impressive given the time available.

I will certainly be taking some of these ideas and technologies and putting them to work. Thanks :)

Really good speaker, clear and informative; managed to convey what could potentially have turned in to a boring "click here, now here, now here" presentation rather well.

I would say that maybe some more background about subnets, networking etc would have added to the talk as many in the room probably didn't have that kind of detailed knowledge and might have been left to "click along" for those parts. Overall excellent though :)

Essential for every software engineer (web dev). Very professional workshop. You get a virtual box at the beginning with ready made platform for your exercises. I've learned a lot about testing.

Good talk Michelangelo, broad subject covered in 3 hours. Well worth watching

First half hour of session was trying to install the prerequisites.
I wasn't told and simply cannot accommodate a random 8gb space on my ssd.
I had to give up after half an hour whilst I had already missed a lot of the talk.
Asking the group if they were ready having provided two USB sticks which everyone had to copy from might have been a good idea.
Felt like there was no point being there.
In the first hour there was no need for laptop as every command he asked us to type he ran on his machine connected to the projector anyway!
Even for the next half hour when he said he wasn't going to run it on the projector, he still did!
would have been easier to run registry on the local WiFi making the local machine requirements far less arduous.
Mapping a port would be clearer if using different ports.

This was the smoothest and most ambitious live demos I've seen. The pace was fine and speaker was clear and understandable despite his northern accent.

I've been using Git for a long time, and was already comfortable with several advanced topics. Going in, I was concerned that it might be too simple, or that I wouldn't get as much as I would have liked from it.

I needn't have worried, though, because Lorna managed the audience brilliantly, catering to all skill levels, and covering a startling amount of content. She always explains everything in a clear way, so that nothing is confusing, and few words are wasted.

Fantastic workshop.
