Talk comments

I would like to see more in-depth talk (as I don't deal with big data in projects I work on), but I'm aware it is hard to fit this into 30 minutes talk. Some of the text on the slides was to small to be readable. (I was lucky enough to be in the fifth row, but I think that in the back of the room it was just impossible to see what was written in sidenotes.) It was interesting to see that plain PHP scripts are still used (and even required) in some areas. The talk was well paced and planned. The speaker definitely has extensive knowledge of the topic so hopefully I will see some longer talk from him in the future, with some useful examples.

Bardzo dobra prezentacja

This is really something interesting, a concept that I didn't know about and today - two days after the confernce - one of my colleagues started mutation testing on the application we are currently developing and we started to figure out how we can interpret the results and how we should restructure our code to make it more resilient and our tests to make them more precise. When coming to a big conference these are the things I want to hear about! I would like to see something new from the speaker again next year, as I liked both of his talks very much.

Widzia?em prezentacj? na PHPers Summit - zauwa?alny progres. Merytorycznie i konkretnie.

Very interesting talk with some code examples included. Presented in a well-structured manner, with examples simplified to be understandable for the audience. Some of the concepts presented seemed very compelling and I'm eager to try them out in my current project. Kudos to OLX for two solid talks of the conference (the other one being giwen by Łukasz Szymański).

The talk was interesting (maybe because I've spent some time doing machine learning years ago) and was a good introduction into machine learning related concepts. The examples given were clear (although I would like to see an example using some kernels to show that not only linear separations are possible for classifiers like SVC).

rubaszna konwencja nie jest taka 'cool', jakby si? mog?o wydawa?

Very interesting presentation with lots of insights into real-life situations. I liked a good introduction into CQRS and Event Sourcing, but what I liked the most was honestly stating the shortcommings of these techniques and their potential pitfalls. It is very rare that when such hyped ideas are presented their negative sides get mentioned as well. The speaker had great presentation skills and was well prepared. One of the best talks in my opinion!
