Congratulations on another successful conference in beautiful Verona :) The speaker lineup was excellent and everyone was very friendly and helpful. One thing I would like you to change for next year: please publicise the unconference better and let us know what talks go onto the schedule - if you add them to joind.in then people will see them in their apps and on the site.
I enjoyed the conference. A great crowd and good topics and interesting speakers.
The organization of the event was great as always. Timing was respected and indications were clear. The happy hour and social were very successful.
I have two points to make on workshops:
- the policy of first come, first served has some problems: I saw people occupying seats for others, which defeats the point.
- The lack of power strips, at least in some areas of the room, can be a problem.
PHPDay is always a masterpiece, this was my third in a row and I won't miss one in the future. I was skeptical about the final Q&A section and it turned out to be one of the best moment in the whole conference.
A lot to learn, nice people to meet, job opportunities to get, prizes to win. All this stuff in a beautiful and well organized location. Can't go wrong.
Shut up and take my money, I'll be there next year too. :D
My first time @ phpDay, found very interesting environment, good talks, plenty of geeks. Awesome!
Thanks everyone for the kind words, and even more for the suggestions. We'll make good use of them in the upcoming conferences we're organizing, and also for the next phpDay obviously :-)
Please give us more suggestions and feel free to ask anything.
BTW the Q&A session was Rasmus' idea, so kudos to him for suggesting it :-)
