An interesting and informative session on continuous integration by an entertaining speaker. Definitely gave me some new knowledge to use in the future. A pity that the internet gods slightly reduced the coding part of the session.
I wonder if some of the teething issues with VMs could be eased by supplying the source materials ahead of time?
Enjoyed the session. Good overview of Puppet that filled in some gaps for me. Enjoyed a quick Drupal chat afterwards too!
Very useful talk for beginners and we also had time to go over more detailed questions at the end!

This tutorial was very high-paced for a beginners tutorial. If (like me) you did not have any noteworthy prior experience with compser, doctrine or annotations, you would probably have a hard time following. I also missed some more basic information on the working of the framework like the routing for instance, other than something like 'these annotations take care of the routing'.
Nontheless, I do think the trainer has very good teaching skills and obviously knows what he's talking about.
The talker was obviously extremely knowledgable and knew how to bring the material in a very interesting way.
Unfortunately a lot of time was wasted at the start of the course on technical problems that simply could've been bypassed by using the slides. This resulted in the most interesting part of the entire talk being rushed way to hard, a bit of a letdown :-/
Hopefully the slides are released so that I can look them over at a lower pace.
Tutorial was really good, a lot of detail covered in a short space of time. I was a little slow to keep up and being able to write in all the examples (I did break my environment though...). Perhaps it would be useful to allow us to see the slides online at the same time, we could then refer to a previous slide if we missed something.
Other than that thank you!
Good insights on the advantages / disadvantages of automation of deployments. Good coverage of the bare bones of automating a deploy. Too short time for more then that and expand on the finer details.
