Very interesting how you can "outsource" certain application features by using APIs; I really like the variety of APIs used in the example, I think I found some gems I may use in the future.

As a 2.5h training I would have liked to have a more hand's on experience coding, or at least time at the end to write a small feature using one of the many APIs.

This session should be MANDATORY for novices on object orientated programming in general and programming best practices. Brilliant examples were used to show discussed concepts.

Good information but the presenter didn't seem comfortable. She rarely looked up from her laptop the entire time she read her presentation from a script, word by word.

Having tried to follow some of the tutorials in the wild, this talk clarified details of the Decorator, Composite, and Factory classes far more than I was ever able to roughly glean from the online tutorials. I look forward to the published book! A translation would be nice but I will seriously consider getting it just for the code examples (and maybe practice some french).

Great info. Was good also to hear a bit of your opinions. Thank you for making it clear which parts were personal opinions and not getting drawn into debate on those things.

Thanks for the personal anecdotes.

Great handling of audience interjections.

I've seen a few presentations about php 7 but no one made the performance gains so clear.
