This made me think a different way about software, bugs, and provided a different perspective on users and how to build our systems - for imperfect people like us.

I liked learning more about HTTPS and his viewpoint and approach on what to do.
I'm always into MySQL, so I really liked learning about facets of the database that I might not be using or know about yet.
It wasn't too relevant for what I am doing. But that's ok, it was still very interesting to hear what others are doing and hear their stories of work and accomplishment!
It was a good overview of approaching security breaches. Not too many specifics, but still a very good overview.
It was very good to hear current info on the latest version of PHP 7. It's great to be around all these brilliant minds! And it did sound like migrating from 5 to 7 might not be as painful as originally thought.

I enjoyed the talk and want to finish figuring out the crypto exercises at the end for the workshop, for good practice and to help retain the info.
I haven't gotten into APIs yet really, but this was good to start thinking about APIs and what is involved and how they work. And there were some examples too.
