Your hand-out was a good idea. It's a great chart and nice to refer to when you are on other slides.
The slightly-heavier paper it was printed on said "hey, this is important, you should grab a copy". :)
Thank you for sharing your slides.
Good job sharing your slides at the beginning. I think this should be a trend since sometimes projectors fail, tall people sit in front of someone, or they are just unable to see well. It was a good save for the under-powered projectors.
I think I saw an earlier version of your presentation at Lone Star. It was good, but I think you've tweaked some things I couldn't put my finger on and now it is even better. I think I got much more out of it this time, so good work! Maybe there were more screen shots this time that helped.
Thank you for sharing your slides.
Wow. That was deep and I learned a lot. I never really thought about the parsing phase using RegEx. I have a much deeper respect for the core dev team!
It's pretty dense, so thanks for sharing the slides. I'll probably need to go through it several times to soak it up.
Thank you for mentioning the extensions. I'm going to make use of them.
I could be wrong, and you may have surveyed this ahead of time... but I think in a room full of tech people, a lot of people were already familiar with the Darmok episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. It gave a very slow start. But if you ever tire of developing, maybe there's a place for you in off-Broadway :)
As always, though, you are spot on.
Excellent talk! Emily does a terrific job of moving from simple analogies to more specific real world examples in a way that helps the attendee grasp the concepts. I definitely came away with ideas I can use in my projects. The resources are terrific and pertinent as well.
Wow! What an intense talk. This talk rekindled an interest in exploring bitwise operations. If you ever get a chance to hear this talk, do it. It is excellent.
Very good introduction to php on the command line. Great overview of some cli libraries, and good use cases.
Terrific talk! A great walk through with a good introduction to building without a framework. Good overview of PSR standards.
Wow. That was fun. That could easily be a two or three hour event. :)
Thanks for sharing your slides and the Cray video.
I walked in late, so you may have covered it... but I think a lot of PHP developers may not know what "registers" are. Most of the presentation builds on that. Either way, it's amazing how far technology has come in the span of one career. Thanks for sharing your stories.
