This talk was a beginner level for me, but very interesting and a good way of presenting it for newcomers!
A perfect given talk on security with useful examples and great advice. Thank you for sharing!
Very moving talk!
As said in the intro of the talk, it was interesting and refreshing to hear about more complex security pitfalls.
Very interesting talk. I learned a lot and will certainly try to apply more of these functions now!
Quick and efficient
I've been looking forward to this one. It was one of the talks that I definitely did not want to miss and I was more than happy that it not only lived up, but exceeded my expectations. The examples were very illustrative, the live coding demo was excellent, and the speaker is very confident and easy to follow.
I would definitely give it a try when writing new code (or refactoring old one) to use collections and mapping/filtering rather than good old loops.
An eye-opener talk! Even if one does not personally experience a problem addressed in the talk, it definitely makes you think about how you can try making the life of people around you (including your colleagues) at least a little bit easier by just having in mind what they may be going through. And that society and culture is what we make it, we should never consider it a constant.
I really enjoyed the talk, the code sample and demo helped me understand better the problems I might be facing when implementing web sockets with PHP on the backend.
Just a small recommendation: using a syntax highlighting color scheme for the code example slides would aid readability.
Brilliant and informative. An eye-opener on what SQL has been doing since the 90s.
