The speaker explained the use-case for containers and functions well.
The talk was interesting to the end, my only complaint is that it felt like it was drawn out. I'd suggest speaking just a bit faster, but this didn't diminish the total experience.
Brilliant talk! I've never met a person with deeper knowledge about SQL. The parts about *FIRST n ROWS ONLY* and *OFFSET* killed me. Adding dry humor was total masterclass. Way to go Markus!
While I was familiar with the subject coming into this talk I still learned a lot.
The speaker did a great job explaining the issue, yet I felt he was cut for time, a longer format would work better for this talk.
Loved it! Alen is a seasoned veteran in the field, was a pleasure listening.
I stopped using offset after this talk, mostly out of the fear of my hand getting chopped off.
The speaker is clear, eloquent and extremely funny to listen to. I was afraid to blink not to miss a second of the talk.
Only the highest prases for this talk.
I was completely foreign to the subject. The speaker did a great job of explaining what property-based testing is and why it's useful. I felt like 25min was perhaps too short for this subject yet even with the format limitation the speaker excelled at the subject.
The talk was highly interesting.
It goes through a completely foreign topic of testing games and explains it to a web developer audience with a lot of practical and video examples. It's one of the best lectures to advocate TDD / BDD to any industry.
The speaker was eloquent, clear and kept me interested through the whole subject.
Great talk
Workshop was a blast! Pim was great in handling us all under the circumstances but I feel the group was too big.
As well, I would prefer if developers are not the people driving the maps -> it should be the business, while developers should be trying to fill out voids they dont understand. Not sure if it's possible to do it in this kind of a workshop since we dont have 'business people' in, it's just a suggestion.
Lovely talk about personal experience with the browser video APIs. I learned a ton about the Netflix API and video streaming in general. Sebastian's touch of humor sprinkled across the presentation was superb, and made it a talk you would be sad to have missed.
