Talk comments

Feedback to myself for the future:
- talk a bit slower :)
- some code examples should have been in the presentation
- prepare some water

Thanks everybody for the nice words :)

Very well paced and spot-on time. Good examples, very well explained but some have too much code for one slide.

Little bit short, but concise and to the point. Personally would like to hear more war stories and first hand experiences from migration and less Sentry.

I'd like to echo what has already been stated - a quick, concise run-down of the topic rendered fluently.

Will certainly keep an eye on future talks by this speaker.

Well paced talk covering basic things about upgrading from 5.3 to 5.6 with really golden Sentry tips. Excellent speaker. As a talk from developers point of view I think it would benefit more with actual code examples about deprecated methods and behavioral changes between versions.

Really nice informative talk. As other already mentioned the speaker was very fluent and articulate.

Very good talk with good pace. It was really well structured and it covered a lot of features of Go in a small amount of time. Code examples were well explained, with enough details to see what the language can do, but without going too deep where it could become harder to understand.

Only thing that could be better is the color choice for the slides and it would be easier to follow the talk with a bit less text on the slides.

I'm looking forward to your next talk :)

Solid overview of the upsides of migrating to 5.6, thanks! I would have loved to hear more about two specifics: gains in developer productivity after migrating to 5.6 due to new features, and a bit more concrete details about any issues which resulted in parts of code being rewritten.

Pretty good overview of some of the strengths of Go.

The code examples are always a pain to present, but in case of longer ones, I think a good approach would be to give a "map" of the code split into logical parts, and then go through the parts one by one with each part on its own slide.

There were no forced comparisons with PHP, which is a huge plus.

Good talk about what is needed to upgrade from PHP 5.3 to 5.6.
Talk speed and English pronunciation were very good for not native speaker.
