Excellent talk on DI & DI :) - both tough topics to grasp for some people.
What can I say? Too much insight - in a good way. Thank you for the nice, yet general talk, Mr. Whittle. Your experience and expertise are visible from a far.
I was very happy with the presentation and explanation of AST in PHP7 and its' implications. I could immediately see the possible program-transformation abilities of a tool like that. Mr. Titcumb didn't disappoint once again. I was also at his workshop and was very happy to see him deliver this talk.
A nice intro to Reach & PHP. Mr. Rota made a good impression as a passionate developer and code evangelist.
Excellent talk on legacy code. I found that Anna Filina is well knowledgeable in the matter. I personally have had to deal with the same problems many times in the past few years and (just) found out at the talk that there were many other people experiencing the same challenges in rewriting bad old code.
Thanks Anna!
Though I didn't had the appropriate background to follow the topic 100%, the presentation was very good and Samantha has deep knowledge on that. Maybe a little more elaboration on what we gain with asynchronous programming would help. Are we just trying to take advantage of the idle time created by blocking I/O actions; Is there something more? Maybe parallelize jobs trying to split the delay expenienced by each one? When asynchronous can be slower than synchronous and why? I am not sure! :-)
An excellent workshop from Miro Svrtan. I enjoyed it very much and got to know PHPSpec's conceptual ideas much better.
One can see that his insight into the matter is big.
I enjoyed the teamwork activities and detailed explanations
A very good workshop. The teacher didn't have the time to go into advanced explanations and examples enough in my opinion. This did not make the workshop bad at all it did build a strong base of understanding.
Thank you Mr. Titcumb
Very nice presentation. I thought of removing one star for using PHP to programme the Raspberry but....this is a PHP conference! :-)
A very nice insight on what you can achieve with deamonized Docker containers. Excellent presentation skills - the talk was owned by mr. Van Dam! Kudos to the presenter.
