One of the talks that made CodeWorks worth every penny! I especially enjoyed the Computer Science-ish (almost philosophical ;) look into patterns, as to why some are good and some evil.

Good talk, very informative about SMTP and the issues involved in sending email in bulk

Great information, will look into CouchDB further after Scott showed it off a bit.

Good overview of Best Practices in PHP and in general programming

Definitely enjoyed the live example. It made things really sink in a lot better than simply looking at slides would do. Can't wait to try some of this stuff out in my own projects.

Cal is very enthusiastic! Definitely got me interested in looking into several of the resources and frameworks.

Enjoyed the talk. Good enthusiasm in the delivery.

The presentation itself was good, although I disagree with the title. To me, this was more of a an introduction to OOP and basic design patterns. I choose this talk specifically for the 'Advanced Design Patterns' and left the discussion disappointed that I did not attend one of the other presentations for this time slot.

Still, the presentation was good and if it was titled more appropriately, I would rate this a 5.

Enjoyed the presentation. I would have preferred a little less sarcasm.

I will echo what MonkeyT said about how did you reach the code fragments that were presented, unless of course it was more just going file by file, line by line.
