Enjoyed the presentation and learned a few things in the process.
Learned a few tricks I wasn't aware of. No matter how strong you are in certain skill sets, there is always room for more knowledge.
Great presentation!
Enjoyed the talk quite a bit. Learned quite a few useful tips!
Can I just say wow? I was very excited to hear about the new functionality of php 5.4.
Learned about things which could change the way we make code flow.
Was very sad to hear about php 5.3 being EOL soon.
Overall great presentation!
The presentation went fairly fast. For those who were completely unfamiliar with iOS development, might of been a bit difficult to follow.
I did not have the proper software installed to follow along (from a coding standpoint) so that did not make things any easier for me.
The speaker did give a good introduction though.
The discussion was very interesting. Slideshow difficulties made it a bit difficult to follow. Very knowledgeable in the subject matter,
reminded me of how much NOT a ninja i am at git. enjoyed being pushed beyond what i understood. was definitely fast paced. might have been a little too much content for only an hour. but then again, maybe others really liked super deep stuff. ninjas and all.
The training that I received with this folks was to put it simply, mind blowing. I was exposed to new technique while coding in php that I was not aware of and my professional growth has definitely grown due to this.
I have always been passionate about development, but being in this training, being surrounded by folks with the same type of mindset and loving to code, my passion has nutured and grown.
Can't thank them enough for what I learned, and I really enjoyed the way they taught, using humor definately makes things entertaining and a joy to be there.
If I had any complaints about the training, it would of been I wish it could of lasted longer! :) Imagine how much more one could learn if the training was for a longer period of time?
really enjoyed the talk topic, but it felt like it fell short because the speaker left too much time for questions. i understand why he did that, but it still left me wanting more and ever so slightly disappointed. but the talk was still pretty good even still.
Great talk. Entirely worth my time. I can totally see how I can use that. One thing though, more like a point of view rather than a critic -- an although I can extrapolate: as a web programmer, DB revisions are often linked to software revisions, so I would have liked to know what's your take on this. For instance, SQL alters are a subfolder of most of the large web projects I work on. Hints on how to deal with it would have been a plus. But in any case, thanks for your great walkthrough of the liquidbase tool. Cheers!
