Chris showed us what Monads are with live code examples; again it was an excellent talk. These are the kind of presentations you wish for when you go to a php conference.

Very relaxing to listen to and quite interesting.

I'm not sure what this talk was about but it was not appropriate for this conference.

I was expecting a talk about what functional programming is with some good examples. Instead I ended up leaving with more questions than I went in with.

Ecellent talk, learned a lot about asynchronous calls/generators in php.

It was lacking context, just a lot of Drupal8 development details.
