Thanks for a reminder to actually invest some time in learning what's new with a tool that we're using. Got a bunch of stuff to try out!
Great overview of approaches. Nice and simple visualizations. Thank you!
The demo took up most of the talk, which left very little room for further explanation, the reasoning behind your tool, and the various drawbacks and issues that you have encountered and the lessons you've learned (I'm sure there are some). Unfortunately no time for questions either.
You were a little hard to understand at times, partly because you moved / turned out of the microphone's reach, partly because of nerves?
Tip: don't use (small) black font on a blue background, that makes the text very hard to read (especially from the back of the room).
While the information was complete, it could use an improvement in presentation skills. It felt like one stream of facts.
Very entertaining and much more relevant to everyday work than you'd expect.
If there's any area for improvement it's in adding a little more explanation about the various problems before moving on to the solution. In some cases it wasn't clear what the question was until we were well into the answer.
The subject was excellent, and deserves more attention. The content of the talk was strong, only the section on remote work and flying people in felt too long and not very relevant to the Netherlands or most of Europe.
The presentation felt knowledgeable and engaged with the subject, but it could be improved by being less static. Try less reading of the literal text on the slides, paraphrasing instead. Move away from the laptop more and leave an occasional pause in the word flow.
Interesting comparison between Bruce Lee and our everyday development. Good presentation and the way of explaining it.
Very informative and nice to know how PHP internals works.
Great talk on a very important and difficult subject.
Good talk about testing
