Great topic but felt like it was a 20min talk that was stretched to fit in the timeslot.
A good and clear overview of user story mapping. It's hard to pack so much information in a relatively short presentation. I liked the part on prioritizing features and would have liked to hear more about this.
Thank you!
I liked the talk and the content! The speed of subjects was good without leaving essential stuff out, the examples were useful to get the subject along and I especially liked the useful resources linked to take it on from there.
This was a rather intense tutorial, but nevertheless Marcello was an enthusiastic and energetic speaker from start to end. With thorough knowledge on the topic and nice sense of humor, he guided us through the concepts of functional programming. For me personally, being an OO programmer, I got introduced to a lot of new insights.
Also, great methods to motivate (almost) every single person to be back on time after a break. Too bad nobody got to sing a lullaby...
Personally I liked how the presentation started of but it was very hard to keep the attention once the switch was made to JS and Haskell. I feel like the audience actually did need a degree in computer science to follow along the presentation. It was the clear the speaker has good knowledge about the subject but the "for Dummies" could have been left out of the title especially since the "why" remained unanswered for me.
I was really looking forward to the subject and talk, if the examples would have been provided in PHP I believe it would have been a lot easier for me and the public to follow along. A new syntax combined with new information is hard to grasp at the same time.
Nice workshop, some concepts became much clear for me. And I know how I can use them in my setup. I really appreciate discussions and hints during the breaks, thanks for that. Maybe some of these discussions should be public, as an improvement for next workshop.
Well structured talk. Doing it in two parts was a very good idea.
Offtopic: thanks for creating and maintaining the phpdotenv package, it's awesome!
Again, an excellent presentation. Presented with a lot of confidence and clarity. The storyline you used (going from collections to monads) was amazing.
Very good job! I'm looking forward seeing more presentations by you at other conferences.
Really like the content and the way of presenting.
Just don't use React again for creating slides :-)
Cool that they talked about all the tools they use but a lot were unclear of unclear how they applied them. clould have been less of a commercial.
