Talk comments

A good introduction to characterisation tests.

I'd love to see a version of this talk or even a workshop that goes into more detail, especially with nitty gritty, like code that makes database calls.

Coming from the workshop on this topic, it was really good to have some of the key concepts reinforced and explained in more detail. Matthias is a great speaker in my opinion, and he gives a well prepared speech with valuable theoretical insight into the subject.

Excellent talk about gitlab, and well prepared slides with useful information. I especially liked the part about the branch test builds.

It tries to explain a fictional system that uses event sourcing, and does so quite well in my opinion. For a person not familiar with building your own event sourced system it provides useful information and tips for learning about the architecture and also presents useful tools for working with it. It was clearly a talk about things the speaker was passionate about!

It's a good point and well worth discussing when, where and what to test. And this helps you in that thought process whether you agree with all of the speakers opinions or not.

This was a very good talk for people interested in remote positions. If you already work remote it still has useful points to take with you.

Nice talk, well presented.

Presentation skills could be improved
structure and concepts were good, but make sure examples aren't too confusing for people that do not know the concept at hand.
I can't get over the fact there was a code-solution for classes that have circular dependencies, since to me that sounds like a use case that should not be possible to occur.

When learning a new tool or technology it can be really helpful to understand the basics, and this talk teaches the basics of docker, with live coding examples.

The description says it, it gives a lot of information with scenarios and issues that arise and also gave solid advice on how you could solve those issues.
