I enjoyed the content a lot, the message I'm not sure and I would appreciate more brevity. Samantha is obviously not a first time speaker and has a really good and comfortable stage presence. I'm not even sure it's the keynote that went over time or if the organisation was already over time, but it had an impact on the day that should not happen at a conference like this.
Goeie talk, duidelijk en helder advies. Leuk idee om Richardson Maturity Model te gebruiken!
De presentatie was iets hakkelig, maar niets wat niet met meer oefenen/uitvoeren verholpen kan worden ?
Funny and engaging as always. Renato is a sure bet for a good time for the audience. Content wise I would like to be sent home with something to do, a call to action. And as an audience member I do not appreciate the speaker not accepting questions. You got on stage, you can try and answer a question :-)
I am not a front-end developer and I still felt inspired to start using these techniques :-| Clean and engaging presentation and speaker, good vibe and good connection with the audience. Calm and composed, good content, what more can the audience ask for.
Give the speaker feedback
Jachim shared with us some hard won wisdom, that
I think everyone should know. He was knowledgable
and had the gusto to do a live demonstration! But as
these things go, the first live demo had a little mistake
and Jachim became nervous after that.
For a 4/5 I would like to see a little bit less content
and more call to action. I can't remember everything
from a list of bulletpoints, so show me the model
again and get me to go to the next level.
For a 5/5 I want to see you remain composed during
the live demo. Worst case scenario you demonstrated
that mistakes are easily made in git - and easily fixed.
Thanks for your talk. I would love to see you speak
more.
Nice demo of the various ways to dive into the data, also fun to watch. Would've liked to see a little more about the steps involved in setting up your application and servers for this level of reporting.
I truly think you should have mentioned that this is all shown in Kibana. It just shows what you can monitor with Kibana. The talk itself wasn't bad, but I propably wouldn't have joined the talk if i'd have known it was all in Kibana.
Sometimes it promoted bad practices
Nice talk. However it was a bit of a commercial talk about what you can do with Kibana, which was not in the title.
Kenneth has done a lot of work on soft skills and is sharing that with us. The workshop is well-paced and contains some useful content. Kenneth is aware of people's limits and encourages *but does not push* people to step out of their comfort zone. For a 5/5 I would love to see Kenneth be prepared to take charge of the close too. We had a great conversation during the final hour, and he created the atmosphere for that conversation, but there was no real close to send us off with. I would recommend this workshop highly.
