My old PLC classes from school came back in my mind and I saw opportunities to improve some code by using state machines. Thanks for that!
Great talk about real world microservices, with clear and properly worked out examples of what can go wrong with applying this architecture, including what you can do about it. Fun examples too!
Feedback: The speaker references specific tools / methods / projects to solve problems, but they are not displayed on the slide. That might be a missed opportunity if it's not intentional.
Very nice talk about microservices and their pitfalls, learned a lot
Very good
Very interesting talk, i’m seeing opportunities to leverage state machines in my work
Nice showcase of the apis, the demo's were well done showing how really simple code can do quite a lot. The superhero angle was maybe a bit much, but the presenting style was very good, well paced.
The subject of testing can be a bit stale at times, but Michael presented the subject in a very clear, informative and even enjoyable way. Very good talk!
I think the situation of “application or workspace without tests” is all to common. I therefore reckon that this talk could be converted to a tutorial format and would have a great reach within the community.
Very clear picture of how metrics are done. Raphael always manages to make a potential complex subject simple and understandable!
Got a great sense of how what we're doing connects to the history of the internet.
Absolutely loved this
