For a PHP developer it always surprises me how JavaScript works. Tomasz did a wonderful explanation on how the two languages differ and how de JS community is struggling with the concept of the event loop. His insights will help me to write better JavaScript in the future. But I would love to see an actual example with an Ajax request fetching data and rendering some part of the DOM.

The message was clear with good examples, however it was long-winded and repetitive.
Very brave speaker, but it felt more as a self-help group confession.
It left me depressed, instead of inspired and enthusiastic about php.

I always admire speakers who can present a complex subject with clear, effective code. Well done!

Lacked context - it missed the grand scheme of the talk the previous day. The message got lost in the implementation details - it was hard to isolate the architecture in so much code.
I will be looking at the code with the presentation at hand, which I feel will be more effective.

Very expressive, engaging speaker with a simple but important subject. Would have liked to see a bit more about how the model related to other similar models.

Original talk remind us our job is not to find the best solution, but the simplest one that works.
Speaker could speed up a bit the flow of the talk.

Good talk on an abstract subject, with lots of examples for implementation. Good to go beyond the theory.
Sound was unfortunately not very good. Maybe it would be help.for the speaker to speak a little slower.

Finally someone brave enough to put it all together! I've read Herberto's blog but the speaker managed to summarise the whole clearly. Didn't miss the code because there were enough practical examples.

Fun intro, clear, concise. The presentation was a bit limited - got the feeling R is more like a calculator than a programming language.

Great intro, but superficial - would have seen some more on concrete application.
