Very nice talk and a lot of humour!

Sorry to bring this like this, but the talk was far from good.

- Bad code examples and the examples itself are poor.
- Sometimes to much of a detail in one single example.
- Asking questions to audience but did nothing with the response of the audience.
- No points that stood out or something to learn and bring home tbh.
- Slides with a single line of code example (full of typos): "thorw new CouldNotTopUpAccount("User account is inactive", $inactiveReson)".
- Spent too much time talking on 1 slide, etc.

A lot to improve, but in comparison to other talks this had to be a rating with 1 thumbs up (Needed more work).

Insightful talk into various approaches one might consider. The fact that we’ve been doing it with relational databases for all this time doesn’t necessarily mean it’s always the right tool for the job. This talk introduces some nice alternatives to consider.

Very well done. I’m a tad new to the subject and the principle was very well explained and the demo code was clear and concise. I feel like I can go into the office on Tuesday and run with it.

If you’re ever able to attend, I’d highly recommend.

I’m not sure I got out of it what I was expecting to learn. Szymon did a good job at explaining the importance of Exceptions, but the message didn’t really stick.

Insightful talk into the workings of Rector. The demos were good but the audience participation caused some confusion on my end. Other than that I’ll be using the tool on my project sooner rather than later.

The only real downside to this talk was the fact that I couldn’t keep up with my notes. So many knowledge bombs were shared in this great talk.

The quiz was also a really nice touch.

A great talk about Time and Timezones. The quiz at the start was a nice touch. The PHP Date library is great to work with and Derick explained well how it will interpreted input. Great talk and thanks for the great work Derick. A little advice. If you start drinking coffee, not minutes before the talk and no three cups at once ;)

Benoit was great in explaining what happend under the hood of PHP and why. It helped me to get a better understanding of the underlaying abstractions of de ZEND engine. Great talk with a great speaker who is very calm and paced.
