VS Code is a huge undertaking and at times it's not obvious why it is exactly what it is; the historical perspective has been perfect and answered most of the questions I had before I could ask them!

The talk by itself could have been ok in another context, but it should have been clear from the title and abstract that it was pure AWS marketing and nothing technical at all.
