Talk comments

The master at work. Funny, instructive and a good reminder that there is a lot of ways to build awesome stuff and that simplicity is key.

Very very good talk, beginning to end. I still consider Ross Tuck's keynote last year to be the best talk I've even seen, but this one is a close second. Loved every minute of it.

I have this urge to sign up to laracasts all of a sudden...

Good talk. Nothing new for me personally, but I think that people that are just starting out with packages found it extremely helpfull.

I wish a could have see that talk a few years ago. Very nice!

Totally not what I expected, and that was great! Easily one of the best talks of the conference. It also tied in great with many of earlier talks

Nice talk, and some very important issues. However it was at times really hard to follow. Maybe add just a few bulletpoint slides next time ? I think a lot of the audience was lost around the same time the speaker was lost herself.

That is too bad, because the content was great!

I really enjoyed the talk, it's a very important and complex topic almost never discussed. I liked the good approach with the icons and the examples. Maybe adding some of the quotes in the slides would relieve the talk a little bit and help to make it a little less "heavy" in complexitiy,. As a non english speaker it's sometimes hard to keep track of complex informations when it's spoken.

Really in depth git stuff. As our company's resident git guru, I mostly discovered I've barely scratched the surface. Yes I use "git add ." a lot! And bisect? Never heard about it!

Also... YAY a fellow Linux user! Really nice to see between all the Apple madness

Really great talk! I learned a lot, even about myself

Just like in your videos, you know how to draw in everyone, from absolute beginners to professionals. Passion, humor and enthusiasm throughout the entire talk. The Gifs and clips were hilarious and appropriately chosen! If I wasn't already a member of laracasts, I would definitely signup after this (because of the hypnosis of course!) One tiny point of critique: perhaps dress a little fancier on stage to make it perfect. Something casual like the presenter of the conference. I was not bothered at all by it, but I can imagine some people might have been. Hopefully you'll come back next year and thanks for this amazing talk!
