Great examples of SQL and scenarios that I could relate to. Pace was good, Michael spoke clearly, and the slides were readable even though they included queries and output. Great presentation that covered basic query optimizations.

Great explanations! Rapidly got up to speed from simple stuff to managing proper projects. Can't wait to watch the videos.

I didn't expect to learn anything from this talk, as I was just sitting in the back catching up on work. I picked up 2 things I didn't know, and this explanation of how to use the explain plan for MySQL is probably the most accessible, easy to understand I've seen.

Very good overview of access control and the 4 most common patterns. Talk was well organized and clearly presented.

Really helped me understand Docker and clear up my confusion. Josh did a great job of explaining the basics then stepping through examples.

Was a lot of info to cover in 3 hours. Was difficult to keep up with what she was doing and try to do it myself. I think if she were to have these steps available for us to go through her tutorial on our own after watching her, would be of tremendous value. She did do incremental commits, but knowing what commands were issued between the commits and what the results were would be beneficial. She was well prepared. I would attend a talk given by Jessica again.

Great talk, wish you had enough time to talk about acceptance testing as you did for unit & functional

LOVED the simple step by step progression coupled lots of clearly written code examples. Thank you for posting the slides - will definitely being going back through them. Also, very entertaining speaker! Fun talk!

Really useful, straightforward talk about a less commonly discussed, but probably more useful, automated testing approach.
