Emily did a good job of relating her experience in a way that can be applied to a problem we all face of dealing with legacy code.

Rodney did a good job at relating his experience to anybody getting started in the tech world. People in charge of hiring should listen to his example and see that ability to learn and work hard are much more important than credentials.

Accessibility is so important for websites and applications. This tutorial did a good job of explaining these issues. Some of the slides were a bit hard to read with the contrast and lighting in the room but otherwise a great talk.

Really good introduction into SVGs and when/why to use them instead of raster images (jpeg images). The slides were clear and the demonstrations great and supported the talk well. I also really liked all the supporting links that were provided in the slide deck. Excellent talk!

Very thorough intro to Object Oriented Programming in PHP. The slides were great with clear examples. Oscar is a great communicator and did a nice job explaining the important aspects of OOP and answering questions along the way. Great talk!

I consider myself an intermediate regex user and this was an ideal mix of familiar and new for me.

I think regex101.com should be mentioned at the start as the place to follow along and try examples during the talk.

This was a great presentation. She simplified a fairly complex topic nicely, and provided some good code samples. Thank you!!

Enjoyed this. Really appreciated that she detailed her team's specific experience. Funny/sad recounting of the political/organizational aspects of the project, especially at the end, was very relatable. :)

I think the only thing I was missing was how the potential solutions were talked through. Why DDD, dependency injection, etc., other than that they are popular 'best practices' would have been interesting.

Felt fairly lost right out of the gate, this may have been too advanced for me. The discussion was also a little dry and hard to hear due to microphone issues. =(

A great introduction to regex and some great specific examples.
I expect to be referring back to the slides often.
