Talk comments

It was well-organized and chock-full of information.

Great intro talk with practical how-tos. I would have liked to have seen more of the hidden features (custom installers, etc) but it was a good talk that was informative and helpful.

I thought that the talk was well paced. Each section got adequate time and attention and nothing was rushed. I don't think there's a very large crowd in the don't-do-code-reviews camp so it would have been nice to see an example code review or perhaps walk though the flow of a specific tool.

Overall I thought the speaker did a good job.

Good talk. Good overview of the entire process. the jokes and slide images were a nice addition to keep it light.

Lots and lots and lots of info. It might have been split up into more than one talk.

I would have appreciated a little more question and answer time, because the knowledge and experience was evident in the presentation. I think people would have liked to pick your brain more.

Matt was self-deprecating in a way that wasn't necessary. He pointed out several of his own errors when they weren't needed. Confidence would serve the presentation material well.

Some of the slides were a little wordy, but I look forward to reading them again.

Very useful. I'm looking forward to referencing the slides.

For teams that are already doing code reviews, there's not much here. But teams that haven't already discovered how awesome code reviews can make your team, they should have attended.

A few critiques points that you might be able to improve in the future: when you turn toward the screen it's very difficult to hear you, and there were some slides that it felt like you were reading the slide to us verbatim.

excellent review of the process to bring a developer environment online.

Great talk, Jacob. Matching dev to production is key! :D
