Was very informational, but probably spent too much time focusing on the "why" and not enough time on the "how". Since this is a PHP conference, some examples of implementing the server side of websockets would be nice.
This was one of my favorite sessions at the conference. Jonathan is an extremely talented speaker who is not only passionate about the subject matter but also extremely fun to listen to. I found myself highly engaged during the entire presentation and left wanting to immediately grab his code and start extending (aka breaking) it.
AWESOME talk Jonathan!
Bart definitely knows his stuff and this talk was very impressive. While it didn't get me excited to migrate a big project from ZF 1.12 -> ZF2 it did get me very interested in building something new with ZF2.
Max - I've included a link to the Percona Configuration Generator in my session notes (linked above). I didn't include tuning of my.cnf in my talk for a few reasons:
(1) It is a very complex topic where the answer to most questions is "it depends"
(2) Just scratching the surface of it would take an extended amount of time (which I didn't have)
(3) The talk was geared to web developers, who are generally not responsible for this type of server tuning
I do appreciate your feedback, and I'll look into adding some basic my.cnf tuning into my talk in the future.
These were the two GitHub projects mentioned towards the end of the talk.

Awesome and interesting talk, even though the topic is a little over my head.
Great to see the things HipHop can do, and when not to use it. Funny and interesting.
Kate - Thanks for the feedback. I apologize for the hard-to-read slides. I think the room did not contribute well to having easy-to-read text on the projector, which did not have great resolution (800x600). Please download the slides in order to see the detailed text.
One of the best talk all weekend. You went into the best amount of detail without going too far to make it hard to follow. Got me very excited about future PHP developments and wanting to try HipHop on my server as well.
Great introduction and overview of the aggregation framework. The final demo helped materialize the concepts.
