It was an intensive day but I believe now I have a good knowledge of what node.js is.
Really great talk. Performance improving is just a lot of hard work! The numeric approach is great. Benchmark Driven Development is exactly what the WebKit people are doing.
Good speaker, interesting approach.
Great seeing an underwater version of nodecopter. It would have been great if the robot would have been there, but such is live. I thoroughly enjoyed the talk.
Not interesting, sorry.
Interesting seeing the azure with node.js being used in the wild, especially the potential lock-ins like the service bus messaging, but again, the MS parts were too much trying to sell me something.
The actual talk was about "Emphatic Testing", and it was much more interesting than the one for Fabric testing. intent.js (https://github.com/goloroden/intent.js) has definite possibilities.
Gabriele and Federico are great communicators and developers and the workshop was definitely interesting. Personally, I was expecting something more "for real".
