What can I say... It basically boils down to all fluff and no stuff. That and as Ben said, some mischaracterizations of map reduce and indexing.

This felt like the most relevant keynote to me. Local people sharing their story of how they got involved in the local community and urging me to do the same. Excellent.

Felt a little scattershot, but the content was there. She highlighted several areas in IT where open source is disrupting, driving innovation, buzzword buzzword, and pointed out Red Hat on the slide (which is what you do when you're an executive at Red Hat).

Should have finished quickly when time was up, even if there was more content.

While fun and interesting, as the very first keynote I didn't think it applied to the "open source" ethos, values, community, etc, at all.

Excellent speaker, fun topic, bad choice to set the tone for the conference.

Rob is a good speaker and the material was interesting. The process he described was in a number of ways specific to the culture and goals of OC Tanner, but that was really the point I think. I definitely came away with some new perspective and new ideas.

Very impressed how you demonstrated each method. Great tips.
I speak a lot and learned new tricks.

Dan started out with the warning that if we were hoping to come away with something we could use right away we were going to be disappointed because Web Components is not fully baked yet. That was a disappointment but the presentation was not. He was well organized, had an excellent command of the subject, and was an engaging speaker. I came away understanding the parts of Web Components, what they do, and what the status is in defining and implementing them. Excellent job.

Good job on intro. Wish you could have covered new version. Very curious about it.

Interesting to see the major projects running together. Would love to have seen more demo time but appreciate you going more to basics for the many cms newbies in the audience. Very interested in Mautic. Finally got into their website.
