Great talk! Gary's enthusiasm is infectious.

Nice insight into nginx, learned a few more tricks and was happy to truthfully answer questions in the QnA

An excellent introduction to interface segregation. Good code examples.

Interesting to get a brief understanding of how MongoDB works in a replicated/sharded set-up. Would definitely consider use sharding for MongoDB scaling if necessary.
It wasn't possible to get an in depth understanding of the subject matter in a 45 minute talk.
Props to Derick for doing this talk at short notice, though.

Really interesting talk on an incredibly important topic.

As always, Derick gives a detailed talk about internal PHP things. As always, it's accessible enough to be understandable, but enough to make your head spin with complexity.
