Amazing speech Andreas! Learn a lot! Very useful tips on handling special chars in database! Thank you so much!

Good introduction to event sourcing including when it should be used and the benefits of it.

The in-depth real-world examples were really helpful although at certain points I lost track a bit following them. This may have just been down to the fact that it's a complex subject to cover in a talk but overall I enjoyed it and also took a lot away from the hands-on session afterwards. Thanks for the help!

I really enjoyed this talk - it gave me loads to think about when using both composer packages, and making use of other kinds of dependencies too

Some great tips here for looking after long running processes, and I'll certainly be investigating some of the suggestions further. Some quick information on how to daemonize PHP scripts would be a good addition I think.

This was really interesting - it's a big paradigm shift though! I did find some of the library usage examples a bit tough to follow, but I'm certainly going to investigate further.

I'm reminded of "the curse of functional programming" - once you learn what functional programming is, you lose the ability to explain it to anyone else! I think you did a great job of explaining the advantages of it in the first half of the talk though.

Great talk, really interesting to learn about the history of these things and think about the role we have in the world today as software developers. A great way to open the conference!

Could have had more PHP-related examples ? #troll

Nice in-depth introduction to some new "wants-to-be-mainstream" JS/browser auth features in the "good" browsers ?

Thought provoking, and serves as a reminder of the potential our work has to do real world good, and real world harm.

Although I did think the fairly recent ethical discussions over programming of unavoidable-crashing autonomous vehicles would have had more of a mention instead of the heavy focus on one particular on-demand taxi-ish company...

Left me with some serious reflection time on the drive home. ??

Some very insightful recommendations on good API design, many of which I will be practicing as soon as I get back to work.
Very much appreciated you sharing your experiences and recommendations on this.
