Great talk. Good introduction to a new language without being preachy or belittling the other language.
The speaker was also very confident and well spoken.

If the job of a keynote is to inspire the audience, this did the trick.

You could see that Samantha really cared for what she was talking about, and that made this talk a delight to watch.

I loved learning the history, and the movement into how what we do can have a huge impact.

What I loved about this talk, is that it was unbiased and objective in the approach taken to looking at a new language. It didn't seek to bash or belittle any language or feature of a language, but look at where each one might be the best fit.

The technical content was well explained and relatable. That made it easier to understand the concepts being demonstrated.

Fantastic talk, great delivery with confidence and a well thought through approach.

A great talk taking a peak under and seeing how opcode works and the difficulties with optimisation.

A very informative talk. Thank you.
Found out about features I didn't know existing.

This was my favourite talk in this conference. What I enjoyed the most, was the high level of technical detail on how the language worked and why it was used in such a way.
A great intro to Go with a clear understanding when to use it. :)

A very enjoyable talk. Liked the delivery and most of it made a lot of sense. The only thing I was missing was some examples on when to use it. In which use cases should I be using it.

A very entertaining, yet eye-opening talk. It definitely enforced that we shouldn't make assumptions into how things work and that often trade-offs are required. Really well presented with an effective arrangement of slides for the manner of the talk. Thanks!

A lovely storytelling and a great way to start the conference.

Great talk! I never realised how many features PHPCS actually had, as well as how much it can be configured. Very well presented with clear examples. Definitely a lot to take away. Thanks!
