Talk comments

I've been pondering learning some different languages recently, particularly Go, so this talk was very beneficial. Gave a nice introduction into the language, its concepts and what to expect. Will definitely be looking into it and this talk has made things clearer. Thanks!

Great talk with lots of clear explanations and code examples. Covered all areas; I had a question in mind near the beginning of the talk only to find that you had answered it further on! Hadn't heard of Hamcrest before but will definitely be looking into using it after this. Thanks!

This is an area I haven't had much experience in and I came away feeling that I've learnt useful information in a short time period and been presented with further resources to look into. Concise with nice explanations. Thanks!

Was great to see how the internet and industries have evolved over time and inspiring to be left with the message that we can shape the future. It felt at times that the talk went into slightly too much detail on the historical facts but overall it was a good keynote to kick off the conference!

An entertaining talk covering an introduction to functional programming. The content covered, including the use of Phunkie, was interesting and is something I'll look more into. In my opinion, there could have been more analysis into when the functional programming approach is appropriate and more on what the benefits are over other approaches but overall I enjoyed it. Thanks!

Great start to the conference, it's nice to be reminded that the internet is still very young and we're helping to shape the way it develops!

highly entertaining, shame about the colour contrast on the slides.

A good introduction to go - covered enough of the basics and some potential use cases for using go that I certainly will look into it

Brilliant! Lot's of good practices shown, gave me a lot of ideas on what to improve in my current usage of phpcs. Also, presented in an excellent and easy to follow manner!
