Great introduction to what looks like a useful tool for Laravel developers.
Very interesting talk, and well presented!
Have never heard of Json Web Tokens before, definitely going to take a look.
Too much content for the time, and the speaker had to speak much too quickly as a result. The structure also felt a bit muddled and it was hard to pick out the key points amongst all the large code samples and diagrams.
A really uplifting end of day 1, very motivating and fun
Great first talk (wouldn't have guessed it was a first), loved the consistent duck examples throughout the presentation, simple explanations for complex concepts.
As someone completing the first part of my career journey in PHP, this talk gave me a really positive view of my direction of travel as a developer. Though I'm not sure I want to get quite as much gaming in as Gary has... no, I'm lying, who doesn't want to spend time gaming... knowing about the pitfalls and the positives of a career in coding, as well as the power of contributing to open source, will be really helpful for the future.
Was rather easy to follow having some security/crypto background knowledge (not as easy without it), some more practical/usage examples would've been nice
Cats, gifs and jargon, in glorious harmony. Really useful as a newbie, coming from a Psychology and basic Maths teaching background (with no higher level Computer Science qualifications), to know that the terminology is opaque to everyone at first. The talk itself was engaging, but definitely needs to be expanded to an hour long for us newbies. Jennifer is a really engaging speaker and I'm looking forward to hearing her again.

An interesting and informative talk. Great to understand that JWT can be used for lots of things.
