Lorna gave a great talk on webhooks. Her explanations were very clear, the examples pertinent, and her passion for the subject was great. Good presentation and well worth the time attending.

Wim did a great job presenting on upgrading to PHP 7 and on PHPCompatibility. His talk was smooth, the topics covered were applicable, and the examples were helpful. I enjoyed the live demo. The blend of why to upgrade to PHP 7 coupled with how was an interesting perspective and added good value to the talk.

Great keynote by Jenny. Her research and findings were an excellent study on user groups. It was great to hear others having similar problems and also seeing the benefit from user groups. Very well prepared, organized, and presented.

Any talk about security is going to be terrifying, and rightly so. It was really interesting seeing how easily you can compromise a vulnerable site, especially the one at the end with the hidden bitcoin iframe! Loads of useful info on CSP, although it could perhaps have benefitted from some practical demonstrations of how to implement it on an existing site using a popular framework. I'll definitely be looking into CSP further!

Good stuff, and looks like a useful framework that will simplify the development journey greatly. For me, though, the most interesting part of chatbots is the natural language processing, which was sadly only mentioned briefly. Nice to see a live working demo though!

Having not used an injection container ever, I didn't really understand this talk, or follow it's examples very well. I think I need a more beginner focused talk.

Excellent. Some really useful stuff here. My only criticism would be that for beginners there was no info on how to actually compile those Vue components, so while it was a great introduction there would still be a barrier to novices trying it out for themselves.

I guess I'm a relative beginner with IoC, so the learning curve here was pretty huge, and I found most of it too hard to grasp. For me, it lacked the "so-what factor" - it wasn't clear to me why what you were talking about was necessarily better than any other approach. Maybe some more practical demonstrations would have helped, visually demonstrating the problem you were trying to solve. Clearly a lot of knowledge in your head, but I'm afraid I'm mostly still none the wiser myself!

A lot to take in, but delivered very well.

Fantastic talk which really helped to understand some of the confusing aspects of internals.

The pace was perfect and packed in plenty of information without going rushed
