Beth's talk was clear and to the point.

The steps that were mentioned to how to get a mentor / mentee were great and valuable to minimise issues in the mentoring relationship. It was interesting to hear from both sides of the coin.

I would have liked to have heard more on common problems and how to get out of them and more on the tools that have been found to be useful.

The backup mics were annoyingly in her face, nothing that the speaker could have done but maybe something the AV team can consider when you have height wise, shorter speakers.

I liked the slides, and examples of personal experiences. Thanks for all the work you have done for the community! I learnt that it's hard to balance people's expectations, maintain highly used projects and not burn out. Next time I find an issue in a third party code base I will try to be more respectful of everything that maintainer has done, or better yet offer to help if I can!

I've heard PHP7 talks from Rasmus and Derick, but this was the first one where I understood how and where to start using php7 features. That was a major difference between previous talks I've seen and it really helped solidifying writing PHP7 code at a user level.

There was good use of pauses in the speech that gave me a second to digest the talk which was greatly apprecicated.

Also enjoyed the honesty in the Q&A.

Trying to work out if theres anything i think could have been improved, but failing to find one.

Excellent talk, and good to see docker-compose examples. Much of the getting started stuff I had already worked out by now, still it was good to affirm my understanding, and great live demos!
I really learnt a lot looking at how you used Docker in a production environment, and how you deploy with it. Thanks!

Felt like the subject matter had depth but we were only given a glancing overview. I'd prefer a talk more focused on one or two of the subjects as trying to take on so many left me feeling a bit lost even when I was already using several of the techniques.

Very good talk, coming with lots of experience and ideas. This would have been super useful for me last year when I was working on a legacy, no-framework code base, I wish I had heard it then!

Gary is a wonderful speaker. I'm already a big user of PHPStorm but I wasn't using Xdebug to it's full potential, I will be from now on.

Despite, as Juozas said, it being quite useless it was very interesting to get an idea of PHP internals. My only gripe was that I had the impression that we'd be going down to machine code (i.e. x86) but I suppose thats a lot to ask of the time slot!

I went into the talking worried it might be an Oracle sales pitch however Morgan is an excellent presenter and gave useful real-world examples. Was happy to take question. Prior to this talk I was considering moving to MariaDB, but now i'm not so sure!

Really interesting and clear talk. Looking forward to using the new features
