Excellent talk
Great entertaining talk covering lots of relevant topics for building CLI applications. Since there was quite some time left some of the examples could have been explained into more details (e.g. arguments/options parsing, threading, forking).
Well presented and learnt about a new extension.
Process mapping at the start was really useful
Loved the approach and guidance in to the testing. We started with a simple test and some explanation. Next up was deeper level testing.
The explanation was done well and it showed you know your stuff.
Would have loved some homework / tips on things to discover about testing.
Good job!
Great talk, there was a lot of useful information and a lot of tools and methodologies were mentioned to improve the quality of our web applications. I really liked how everything was covered as an overview without going into too much detail, giving you an understanding of everything and then leaving you to go and research on your own if you are interested on something. If I had to suggest something, it would be to spend more time showing how to refactor code but I think it was impossible given the amount of time available.
Attended your talk at Scotland php last year and like what I saw. Great to get a proper hands on today.
I have a couple of plans to use it in a couple of projects I am working on.
Awesome feedback! Thanks a lot!
Great overview of penetrating covering many areas. Some tools I've not heard of but look really useful.
Good to see some of the tools used and methodology routes.
Of course only so much you can show in a 3 hour session but got a good balance to run with.
Great coverage of the databases Postgresql, Redis and CouchDB. Use cases, examples, and top tips.
