Easily the most brutal PHP test i've ever done, all kinds of weird and wonderful to catch you off guard.
Really fun and fast paced, don't miss this one
A useful reminder
A good talk on an increasingly relevant area for many developers.
Interesting, albeit terrifying at the same time.
Sometimes it's good to be reminded what you don't know.
I felt like it was focused more at older generation of devs with talks of php 4/5. Clearly a wise guy, knows his stuff but it was so damn fast to keep up with. Sometimes by the time I'd read and understood the question it had been answered and we were on the next question. Felt like I could have got more from it, definitely a reminder that theres more too learn.
I found this one not to quite match up with the title. Was like an introduction to unit testing with some funny examples but also examples I didn't understand in relation to a legacy php project. Unfortunately I was expecting the examples to be more useful to me, I did however pick up a few tools I had never heard of before.
Great talk! Covered a diverse and complicated topic in a logical manner that was easy to follow.
Executed brilliantly, was a lot of fun, everyone was reminded how much they really know in PHP. Went a tad fast for me, but other than that lessons were learned!
Clearly there was a lot of information to compress into the time allowed for this talk but what we did get to see was useful. I think developers of all levels would be able to take something from this talk. It's always good to be reminded that you don't know as much as you think you know.
A good talk well presented butthere was a lot of information crammed in. Probably a failing of mine but I had to skim over it a lot.
