Unfortunately poor from a vegetarian's point of view. There were no vegan sausage rolls left when I got there, and I couldn't even cut the top of the lasagne with a knife it was so overcooked. The salad bar was lovely though.
I think this was a very interesting talk and taught me several things. I'll also be researching things further. However I found your talk overly confrontational and even aggressive in places which was uncalled for.
A really insightful talk and you're obviously a very knowledgeable and experienced speaker. One thing I'd point out is you need to plan your timings as you obviously had far more slides and information than could possibly fit in the 50 minute slot.
This is the second time I've enjoyed this talk. One thing I'd mention is be clear about people not interrupting you in the middle of your talk as it threw your timing a little I think (and it was rude of the person). I'd suggest just starting with something like "I've got a lot of information to get through and I'd appreciate saving any questions for the end".
I enjoyed this quiz, and it's pointed out some gaps in my knowledge of PHP's interesting quirks. It was certainly a good choice for after lunch to get peoples' brains working again.
You're quite opinionated and very obviously anti non open source, which certainly isn't a bad thing but worth bearing in mind not everyone shares the same opinion. I generally think it's worth offering a balanced view of things. I think you're a great speaker and the way you present information inspires me.
I enjoyed your talk, and it's inspired me to have a play with Neo4J. The demo was particularly useful, it's always nice to back up words with some examples I think to help things soak in.
I really enjoyed this workshop and learned a great deal.
Very good idea, and nice location
Lovely veggie food compared to lunch, and the board games was a great idea. Alas I was just too tired at that point to stay long. I feel if more free beer was offered it would attract a lot more people, I think many just went home.
