Important topic and one which often is thought about as an incident is happening instead of following the playbook which you have set out.

This is the talk I wish I heard years ago. Knowing quite a few of these pit falls has meant days spent looking in to bugs. It's easy to overlook these as they all look like they do the correct thing.

Great examples and we'll delivered

Great talk from Lorna as always.

Thanks for the new interview test!

The quiz was really entertaining and made me question my knowledge so much. Delivered really well.

Great talk! It is not an easy thing to talk about such difficult topics.
It makes us more aware of what our responsibilities as developers are.

Mike did a really good job of getting across the key points of Websockets in a single day. He'd clearly put a _lot_ of effort into this workshop - in deciding how to cover the topic, preparing very detailed training materials, and even localising them to Yorkshire. It was a brave decision to cover so much in one day and it paid off. Certainly it's made me want to come back to Websockets on my next hack day.

Also good to have a personable speaker with a nice sense of humour, who took the trouble to read his audience and change pace accordingly (even coming up with an innovative solution to help out a short-sighted participant).

Larry is an accomplished, passionate and thought-provoking speaker. But I think the talk could have been far better without the hectoring tone - which (for me at least) just gets your hackles up. As he showed in the spirited Q&A afterwards he is certainly capable of nuanced argument - I wish he'd brought some of it into the talk.

I really enjoyed this talk - the highlight of the conference for me. Katy was an engaging speaker and clearly knows her stuff. Mockery `overload` was new to me and I expect to refer back to the notes I made on other techniques too.

Very good and rich

This was fantastic fun! The questions were real head scratchers and showed some fun and interesting quirks in PHP! Loved it!
